ok, tldr: Pros, nice collection of the various different graphic designs from the films. Cons, print quality is so-so and it's freaking tiny! Good gift idea for the potter fan who has everything, but if you're looking for something you can enjoy the details of, skip it.I'll say upfront, I completely glazed over the description so I did not expect the book to be as small as it is. That being said it is the most thorough collection of harry potter graphic design that I've found so far. It's just such a shame some of the images are so small you can't really apprentice the tiny details that were put into the real things. For example, there are a few images of Daily Prophet pages that even with a magnifying glass are totally illegible apart from the headlines. Which, again, is a shame because the design team actually wrote articles to go along with the headlines! There are even a few images that almost seem blurry. Now, I don't know if that's due to the print quality, or the image itself, but compared to the other designs like them it's safe to assume they're not supposed to be blurry. Plus the overall print quality, excluding the slightly blurry images, has been practically destroyed by having to be so small. Like, the preview images you can see up above are higher quality and much more detailed than what's actually been printed! I'd say if you're really interested in the graphic design of harry potter, buy at you're own discretion. On one hand perhaps if this book sells well it will tell WB that people are actually interested in this sort of thing, and we can hope they might put out a normal sized book about the graphic design. But on the other hand, $9-$12 for something you'll really only be able to skim once or twice before you've seen everything might not be worth it.All in all, I would not recommend this book unless it's intended as a fun little gift for the potterhead who has everything already. If you want to actually be able to admire the designs, just look 'em up online. You'll actually be able to see the details that way.
