Each set of exercises in the Workbook is closely correlated with the corresponding chapter of the text and with a particular Self-Test within the chapter. Each set of Workbook exercises begins with problems similar to those found in the corresponding Self-Test, but the Workbook exercises also include problems that are too open-ended for the Self-Test format as well as more creative types of compositional problems for those instructors who like to include this type of work.

I purchased this workbook from Silver Ocean, and it arrived quickly and in near-perfect condition, in my opinion exceeding the quality listed in the seller's description. The workbook itself offers exercises that expand upon the self-tests in the textbook, and I find it very useful in practicing new material. However, I have not been able to find the answers, and so the workbook is of limited usefulness to me, especially for the price. I would highly recommend the seller, but until I find the answers, I cannot highly recommend the workbook itself. Buy it if you need more practice than the self-tests in the textbook offer.
